In September of 2015, we were approached by a young entrepreneur from Manhattan. He sought Youfind4’s aid in redefining how people consume and interact with real-time information within the context of a geographic interface system. At the time, our design and development resources were completely allocated to other projects, but our client was insistent on working with our team. He was convinced we were the only team for the job, based on our extensive history of integrating maps into iOS solutions.

In early 2016, he flew to Salt Lake City and spent three days at our office while we fully immersed ourselves in a product discovery phase. Amidst an exchange of anecdotal use-case scenarios, Stephen coined what ultimately became our mission statement “We are here to build a Human Atlas.” We shipped YouMap to the world in 2017 and we're excited to watch the YouMap community grow.
